Auto-Azan Overview
After the initial installation process is complete, provided that the correct latitude, longitude
and time zone has been entered, the Honeywell VisionPRO® controller TH8320NR1016/U
will calculate the correct prayer times and will automatically adjust the start times
according to the necessary astronomical calculations and requirements. So, there will be
no need to manually correct the prayer times.
Occasionally for special functions such as Ramadan and Eid Prayers, the override button
can be used to set the thermostat status to occupied mode and the system will continue
running until the override button is disengaged.
Programming the VisionPRO
®
Auto-Azan.
If you wish to take advantage of the inbuilt Auto-Azan feature, please note the longitude
and latitude of the site location before initial programming of the device and have the
information ready to enter when prompted.
Proceed with thermostat programming according to the specific application.
1 Enter
“Installer setup”
mode using the method described in the installation
instructions.
2 At “Setup#1601” screen use the
“UP / DOWN”
arrow buttons to index to the longitude
appropriate to the thermostat being programmed. Use the
“NEXT”
button to move to
the next screen.
3 At “Setup#1602” screen use the
“UP/DOWN”
arrow buttons to index to the latitude
appropriate to the thermostat being programmed. Use the
“NEXT”
button to move to
the next screen.
4 At “Setup#1603” screen use the
“UP/DOWN”
arrow buttons to index to the time zone
appropriate to the thermostat being programmed. The choices available are either 3 or 4
hours ahead of GMT. Use the
“NEXT”
button to move to the next screen and continue
normal programming.
5 Exit Installer Setup and return to normal operating mode when programming is
complete.
Once the
TH8320NR1016/U
has been programmed and the location and time zone
entered, the
VisionPRO
®
Auto-Azan feature will calculate and adjust the switching times
appropriate to the specific location of the system.
