SmartPAC 2 Keyboard, Displays

and Operating Modes

The Three Operating Modes of SmartPAC 2

SmartPAC 2 has three modes of operation:  Initialization, Program and Run.  The figure
below shows the main, or top, menu for each mode.  Table 3 - 1, page 189 tells what each
mode is for, how to enter the mode and how to exit it. For more information about using each
mode, see the sections on the pages noted, and the chapter about each mode.

SELECT = HIG ENTER

When we say “select” in this manual, it means highlight the item and then press ENTER.

NOTICE

To exit any mode, be sure you are in the main menu, shown below.  If you are not in the
main menu, press RESET repeatedly until the main menu appears.
