Description
The MDC108200 Coax Distribution Module provides distribution of one incoming coax signal (TV or Cable
TV) to eight locations, and Satellite TV to four locations with a 12db amplifier and four auxiliary pass through
ports. Please be sure to review this installation guide carefully prior to installing the module.
Installing the MDC108200
Connecting Antenna and Cable TV
1. Route a RG6 coax cable between the video source
(antenna or Cable TV) and the distribution module.
2. Connect the RG6 coax cable to the input on the
rear of the distribution module.
3. Using a RG6 patch cord, connect the DC power
transformer to the 12VDC input on the rear of the
distribution module.
4. Connect the RG6 coax cable running to the rooms
(premise wiring) to the outputs on the front of the
coax distribution module.
Connecting Satellite TV
1. Route two RG6 coax cables between the Satellite
Dish and the distribution module. One will be
designated as LNB A and the other as LNB B.
2. Connect the LNB A and LNB B RG6 coax cables
coming from the Satellite dish to the SATV inputs on
the back of the distribution module.
3. Connect the RG6 coax cable running between the
Satellite Receivers in the rooms and the SATV
outputs on the front of the distribution module.
