11. When you are satisfied with your changes, click OK to return to the Rule Configuration
(Schedules). The date and time settings automatically populate in the Schedules
area.

12. Click Next to add camera(s) to your record rule. The Rule Summary (Cameras)
displays (see

Note
You must add a camera to a record rule to have video and audio recorded
from that camera.

Type
Indicates the type of timed recording. Options are:
Use date
. Allows you to set a recording schedule for a range of days. When
you select Use date, the Start Date, Start Time, End Date, and End Time fields
are configurable.
Use day
. Allows you to set a recording schedule for one day of the week. When
you select Use day, the Day, Start Time and End Time fields are configurable.
Start Date,
Start Time
Type or select when you wish recording to start.
End Date,
End Time
Type or select when you wish recording to stop.
Day
Select the day of the week.
