Step 3
Mounting the Base
Note
Adjustment of the camera field of view (FOV) is limited after you complete the
installation. For this reason you may wish to reconfirm the view using the
Toolbox application. See
Confirming the Camera Coverage
for more
information.
1.
Attach the camera base using the four #10 x 1 inch self-tapping screws with neoprene
washers (supplied).
Note
Alternate fasteners can be used, as long as they are not larger than a #10
screw and provided also that neoprene washers are used to properly seal the
enclosure.
2.
Push any excess cable back into the bulkhead or ceiling.
3.
Apply sealant (supplied) to the cable entry to prevent any moisture from entering the
housing.
After you have successfully installed the camera(s) you need to connect each one to the
HTRD400 Recorder (see
Connecting the Camera(s) to the HTRD400 Recorder
1. Cut a

opening in the
grommet.
2. Connect the
CAT5 data/power
cable.
