Mounting the HTRD400 Recorder

The HTRD400 Recorder is intended for indoor use only. It can be mounted horizontally
(suspend or support mounted) or vertically.

Figure 2-3

shows all the possible ways to

mount the HTRD400 Recorder. Use the two L-brackets supplied with the install kit to mount
it in any of the ways shown.

Installation Mounting Options

Prepare the mounting surface. Mark and pre-drill holes for the four #10 x 3/4 inch
sheet metal mounting screws included in the hardware package.

Attach the L-brackets (supplied) to the mounting surface using the sheet metal
mounting screws supplied. If desired, you may also use a suitable substitute.

Secure the HTRD400 Recorder to the two L-brackets with #10-32 x 3/8 inch machine
screws (supplied).
