Rebooting and Locking the HRG DVR

While in the Shutdown menu, you can also reboot or lock your HRG DVR. Locking your HRG 
DVR will return you to the Live View mode, which requires a user name and password to exit out 
of it. The Reboot button reboots your HRG DVR.

Using the Setup Wizard

By default, the Setup Wizard prompt appears when you turn on the HRG DVR (see 

Figure 2-2

). 

The Setup Wizard guides you to configure some of the important settings for your HRG DVR. 

Note

If the check box is cleared 

, then the Setup Wizard will not run again until the 

factory default settings are resumed. 
If the check box is selected 

, then the Setup Wizard will start the next time the 

HRG DVR is turned on.
