Calendar Setup

Note
The holiday time settings apply to all enabled holidays. Times cannot be set
independently for each holiday.
Using Normal and Alternate Setup
Use the Normal/Alternate Setup feature to:
•
Split each day into two time periods: normal and alternate recording times and
settings
•
Assign each time period its own recording settings
This feature allows you to create a secondary setup for the way your system operates. This
can help you in a number of different ways. Use this feature to:
•
Conserve disk storage space during alternate hours
•
Change recording modes to adapt to changing circumstances
To set Normal/Alternate recording:
1.
Access the Alternate Setup screen as follows:

Enable
(activate) the Alternate mode. If the Enable field is not selected, only Normal
recording conditions apply.

The Alternate mode is defined through the Mode field.
4.
Select the Mode box, then press
Enter
. The box text changes from grey to white. Use
the control buttons to toggle between Timelapse and Pre-event mode.

With Alternate mode enabled (see
) access the schedule screen:
