BACKLIGHT
Backlight Compensation (BLC) prevents subjects in defined areas of the scene from
appearing too dark when backlighting is present. Highlight Masking Exposure (HME)
masks bright areas of the scene to allow objects to appear clearly.
BACKLIGHT
is set to
OFF
by default. To enable this feature, select
BLC
or
HME
.
If BLC is selected:
1.
Set
LEVEL
to
LOW
,
MIDDLE
, or
HIGH
.
2.
Set
DISPLAY
to
ON
or
OFF
to show or hide
the BLC mask.
3.
If
DISPLAY
is set to
ON
, adjust the values
for
TOP
,
BOTTOM
,
LEFT
, and
RIGHT
to
set the size and position of the BLC mask.
4.
Set
RET/INI.
to
RETURN
or
INITIAL
.

Select
RETURN
to go back to the main
menu.
•
Select
INITIAL
to reset the settings to
the factory defaults.
If HME is selected:
