S T E P 1 Inspect th e cells fo r broken ion izer w ires and
b en t collector p lates. R e p a ir as n e c e s s a ry or
ta k e to a H o n e y w e ll A u th o rize d A ir C le a n e r
R e p a ir Station.
S T E P 2 S lid e th e prefilters into th e u p s tre a m prefilter
g uides.
S T E P 3 S lid e th e air c le a n e r cells in so th e air flow
a rro w points d o w n s tre a m a nd th e h an dles fa c e
outw ard.
S T E P 4 Firm ly close th e a c c es s door.
S T E P 5 Turn on th e air c le a n e r. If th e cells a nd prefilters
are w et, th e neon light m a y not c o m e on and
you m a y h e a r arcing. If th e arcing is ann oyin g,
sim ply turn th e air c le a n e r off for 2 -3 hours or
until th e cells a re dry.
If y o u r air c le a n e r has an Air C le a n e r M onitor,
th e F A U L T indicator m a y a c tivate if you install
w e t cells a nd prefilters. A g ain , if th e neon light
or th e F A U L T indicator a nn oys you, sim p ly turn
off th e air c le a n e r for 2 -3 hours or until th e cells
a nd prefilters a re dry.
