Parameter settings
Add-on radio modules
The
HMA suite
parameter setting software, a PC and the respective infrared
communication head (
WFZ.IRDA-USB
) can be used to set parameters for the
radio modules and transmit installation telegrams. After starting the
HMA suite
and logging on (user profile "Administrator"), select the respective interface
and activate the tab.
Starting installation telegrams
Installation telegrams are triggered after the module has been placed on the
meter by means of:
• Service software
HMA suite
,
a PC
and an infrared communication head
WFZ.IRDA-USB
or
•
WFZ.PS
Align
WFZ.IRDA-USB
or
WFZ.PS
to the IrDA interface of the
add-on radio module.
The installation process is shown on the meter display by means of the current
installation step ("Inst 8" to "Inst 1").

• Transmission-free days
Transmission of the cold quantity
In as far as the option "Cooling energy metering" is enabled on the meter, the
metering device transmits both heat metering and cooling energy metering
data.
In the case of device types with combined heat/cold metering (
EW600 C-type
),
a virtual second metering device with the serial number of the heat meter +1
will be displayed in the M-Bus system. This device is assigned the medium
“Cold” in the data record.

An ERROR display appears on the meter display under the following conditions:
1. If the module is not fitted to a calculator unit.
2. If the calculator unit outputs its own ERROR message.
