Troubleshooting the CPO-IO830A
Diagnostics and application debugging of the CPO-IO830A can be performed via the CPO-PC-6A using ComfortMan.
Furthermore, the CPO-IO830A also features a power LED and service LED which can likewise be used for troubleshooting
purposes.

I/O module is in the boot mode.

Wait until rebooting (firmware download) has
been completed.

– Defective device hardware.
– Possible power supply problems, clock
problems, defective processor.

– Mixed Panel Bus I/O module has not yet
been configured by CPO-PC-6A.
– Boot loader is active.
– Failure during last firmware download.
– Checksum error.

Set the hex address to the position configured
during engineering.

Check the Panel Bus wiring:
- Check for cable breaks.
- Check for cable short-circuits.
- If using separate transformers: Check ground
connection.

Allow the CPO-PC-6A to configure the Mixed
Panel Bus I/O module.
►
Unplug and replug the module.
►
If problem persists, replace hardware.

Alternating flash between
service LED and power LED
Download error or application checksum error.
