Downstream of the gas solenoid
valve V2 on the burner side, the pipe
to the burner must be open so that
the space between valves V1 and V2
can be vented.
The pressure switch DG moni-
tors the pressure between the two
valves. It must be set to half of the
inlet pressure p
u
/2 in order to check
both valves with equal sensitivity.
In pilot/main burner systems with
three gas solenoid valves, V2 and
V3 are checked simultaneously.
