Answer Back System
ED type
The answer back system is a device to find
the location of your vehicle.
When the immobilizer is active and you press
the answer back button on the Honda
SMART Key with the ignition switch in the
(Off) or (Lock) position, the turn signals
light, and the ignition switch ring lights,
informing you of your vehicle's location. The
ignition switch ring will light for about 1
minute.
The answer back system uses low-intensity
radio waves. It may affect medical equipment
such as a cardiac pacemaker.
