ALTERNATOR/STARTER CLUTCH

13-7

Install the parking brake cable clamp and rear brake
hose joint to the stay and install the bolts.
Tighten the bolts securely.

Hook the alternator/CKP sensor wire to the clamp.

Connect the following:

– Alternator 3P (Black) connector
– CKP sensor 2P (Red) connector

Install the following:

– Muffler (page 3-33)
– Right floor skirt (page 3-9)
– Right body cover (page 3-11)

Fill the crankcase with oil (page 4-11).
Fill and bleed the cooling system (page 7-6).

ALTERNATOR STATOR/CKP SENSOR

REMOVAL

Remove the right crankcase cover (page 13-4).

Remove the wire band and release the alternator/
CKP sensor wire.

Remove the following:

– Bolts, stator
– Wire grommet
– Bolts, CKP sensor
