Adjust by turning the rear brake adjusting
nut a half-turn at a time. Make sure the cut-
out on the adjusting nut is seated on the
brake arm pin ( ) after making final
freeplay adjustment.
If proper adjustment cannot be obtained by
this method, see your dealer.
Apply the brake several times and check
for free wheel rotation after the brake
pedal is released.
After adjustment, push the brake arm ( )
to confirm that there is a gap between the
rear brake adjusting nut ( ) and the brake
arm pin ( ).
After adjustment, confirm the freeplay of
the rear brake pedal.
Make sure the brake rod, brake arm, spring
and fasteners are in good condition.
