Coat areas that may rust with a light film of oil. Cover the engine
and store it on a level surface in a dry, dust free area.
Pull the starter rope slowly until resistance is felt. This closes the
valves, and protects them from dust and corrosion.
Change the engine oil (see page
).
If you can not drain from the carburetor:
Empty the fuel tank into an approved gasoline container using
a commercially available hand siphon.
Operate the engine until it stops from the lack of fuel.
