Servicing Your Honda

Installation

Reverse the removal procedure. Install the
side collar into the wheel. Make sure the lug
( ) on the swingarm is located in the slot
( ) in the brake panel (

). Check that the

chain adjusters are installed properly.

If a torque wrench was not used to install the
wheel, see your Honda dealer as soon as
possible to verify proper assembly. Improper
assembly may lead to loss of braking capacity.

Apply the rear brake, release it, then spin the
wheel and check that it rotates freely. Repeat
this procedure several times.
