mode, press the teach-in button again briefly.
Now press the connected switch/contact to switch
the associated channel (S1, S2, S3) to teach-in
mode. The device LED flashes orange. The teach-in
procedure can be cancelled by pressing the teach-in
button briefly; this will cause the device LED to light
up red.
Once the channel has been selected, teach-in
mode will remain active for 20 seconds. The other
HomeMatic components to be taught-in must also be
switched to teach-in mode during this time. For more
information on this, refer to the operating manual for
the device. The device LED lights up green to indi-
cate that teaching-in has been successful. How long
it lights up for depends on whether any configuration
work still needs to be carried out on the device.
If no teach-in operations are carried out, teach-in
mode will be exited automatically after 20 seconds.
If the shutter contact interface has already
been taught-in to a central control unit, it will
be blocked for direct teach-in. The device can still be
switched to configuration mode as described above,
