GR)
GB) A
) Stop the engine before setting tension. Turn the adjusting screw
(see
“H”
in illustration 4 )
clockwise
to move the guide bar outward
until the chain is tight to the bar but can still be pulled around the
bar by hand. Tighten guide bar nut(s) (see
“G”
in illustration 4)
securely to lock in position.
B
) Chain must be re-tensioned whenever the drive link tangs hang out
of the bar groove.
C
) Drive link tangs of correctly tensioned chain at normal operating
temperature hang halfway out of bar groove. Warm chain should
be adjusted only to this halfway position. New chain stretches
rapidly. Check the tension often.

GB) FUELING
•
This product is equipped with a 2-stroke engine which requires
2-stroke lubricating oil to be pre-mixed through the petrol.
•
Use LEAD FREE PETROL (minimum 87 Octane).
•
Do not use pre-mixed petrol/oil from petrol (fuel) service sta-
tions intended for use in mopeds, motorcycles, etc.
•
Use a clean petrol container to mix the petrol with oil.
•
Use high quality 2-stroke self mixing oil for air cooled engines
(do not use outboard or automotive oil). Mix in small quantities.
•
Mix 2% oil into the petrol. This is a 50:1 ratio.
•
Mix the fuel thoroughly and also each time before fueling.
•
DO NOT use fuel mix that is older than 30 days old or engine
may not start.
FILLING TANK
1. Loosen fuel cap slowly. Rest the cap on a clean surface.
2. Carefully pour fuel into the tank. Avoid spillage.
3. Immediately replace fuel cap and hand tighten. Wipe up any fuel
spillage.
4. It is normal for smoke to be emitted from a new engine after first use.
NOTE
: Always shut off engine before fueling. Never add fuel to a
machine with a running or hot engine. Move at least 3 meters (10
feet) from refueling site before starting engine.
DO NOT SMOKE!
