The soldering gun can be used primarily for telecommunication, and high-voltage electric devices, connectors and switches to perform soft
soldering that requires low heat intensity.
Main advantages over traditional soldering irons:
•
high operational and fire safety
•
quick heating up
•
energy-saving
•
ease of use
OPERATION
After pressing the push-button the devices safety transformer heats the soldering tip to operational levels under a few seconds. After 12 seconds of
use take a 48 second break before starting the next soldering. Otherwise the device will overheat, and the lifetime of the soldering tip, and
transformer can shorten. During proper usage the soldering tip will wear itself out, this is due to natural deterioration, and as such needs to be
replaced regularly.
The surface to be soldered needs to be cleaned thoroughly, and the soldering tip needs to be dipped into the soldering paste. If the soldering tin is
filled with resin, then the later can be skipped.
The purpose of the built-in lamp is to light the soldered location and to indicate that the soldering gun is active. If the lamp is blown out the device
will continue to work correctly.
REPLEACING THE LIGHT BULB
The purpose of the built-in lamp is to light the soldered location and to indicate that the soldering gun is active. If the lamp is blown out the device
will continue to work correctly. The bulb can only be replaced with a bulb of the same parameters (2,2 V, 0,25 A, E 10). To remove the bulb turn it
counter-clockwise, while making sure the bulb does not break.
CLEANING
In order for the device to work properly, with a frequency depending on the severity of the contamination, but at least once a month the device
should require cleaning.
•
Before cleaning turn the device off, then cut the power by removing the plug from the socket.
•
After usage leave it to cool down for at least 20 minutes, before starting to clean!
•
Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use aggressive chemicals! The inside of the device, and the electrical parts cannot come into
contact with liquids!
Waste equipment must not be collected separately or disposed of with household waste because it may contain components
hazardous to the environment or health. Used or waste equipment may be dropped off free of charge at the point of sale, or at any
distributor which sells equipment of identical nature and function. Dispose of product at a facility specializing in the collection of
electronic waste. By doing so, you will protect the environment as well as the health of others and yourself. If you have any
questions, contact the local waste management organization. We shall undertake the tasks pertinent to the manufacturer as
prescribed in the relevant regulations and shall bear any associated costs arising.
Caution: Risk of electric shock!
Do not attempt to disassemble of modify the unit or its
accessories. In case any part is damaged, immediately power off the unit and seek the
assistance of a specialist
.
In the event that the power cable should become damaged, it should only be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service facility or similarly qualified personnel.
TROUBLESHOOTING:
Problem
Possible solution for the problem
The soldering gun does not heat up
Check the mains socket
The tip of the soldering gun is worn out
Replace the tip of the soldering gun
The bulb is not lit
replace with a bulb of the same type
(2,2 V; 0,25 A, E10)
