INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
BEFORE USING YOUR APPLIANCE
• Remove the exterior and interior packaging. Check to make sure you have the following parts:
• HR-RUO-15-1 and/or HR-RUO-24-1
• Instruction Manual
• Wire shelves with wooden edge and stainless steel trim
• Door Handle
• Before connecting this appliance to the power source, let it stand upright for approximately 24 hours. This
will reduce the risk of a malfunction of the cooling system due to handling during transport.
• Clean the interior surface with lukewarm water using a soft cloth.
• The appliance is specially designed for wine storage; please do not put in other goods or food.
APPLIANCE INSTALLATION
• This appliance is designed for indoor and outdoor use and can be installed as a freestanding or recessed
(fully enclosed) appliance.
• Place your appliance on a strong enough floor to support it when fully loaded. To level your appliance, adjust
the front leveling legs of the appliance.
• Install the appliance away from direct sunlight and heat sources (stove, heater, radiator, etc.). Direct sunlight
may affect the acrylic coating, and heat may increase electrical consumption. Freezing ambient temperatures
may also prevent the appliance from functioning efficiently.
• Avoid installing the appliance in a place with high humidity.
• Plug the appliance into an exclusive, properly installed and grounded wall outlet. Do not cut or remove the
third (ground) prong from the power cord under any circumstances. Any questions concerning power or
grounding should be directed toward a certified electrician or a service center.
BUILT-IN CABINET INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance is designed to be installed freestanding or recessed. If you plan to recess the appliance, follow the
requirements listed below. Be sure that airflow under the appliance is not blocked.
