HOW TO USE THE APPLIANCE
FOOD PREPARATION
1. Make sure that the appliance is unplugged.
2. Turn on the power supply. Both control lamps will turn on (red and green). The
green lamp indicates that the appliance is plugged in, and the red one that
the appliance is heated up and ready for food preparation. The appliance has
an automatic thermostat and until the red light is on, the appliance is heating.
When the red light goes off, the appliance reaches the temperature needed
for food preparation. During use, the red light will indicate when the appliance
warms up (the red light is on), and when the temperature is maintained (the red
light is off).
Before the first use, oil the heating plates, turn the appliance on and leave it to run
for a few minutes. Turn off the appliance, allow it to cool down and then pick up the
excess oil with a dry paper towel / napkin.
ATTENTION
:
Always use oven mitts as a protection when
opening. Steam can cause burns.
ATTENTION:
The length of power cord is designated as a
security measure to prevent accidents caused by latching on a
longer cable. The use of an extension cord is not recommended.
21. Do not use in the bathroom, near water or outdoors.
22. When using this appliance, ensure 10-15 cm of space above and on both sides
of the appliance, so warm air could circulate. Do not use on surfaces which
heat can damage.
23. Wait until the appliance is fully cool before set it aside. Never wrap the cord
around the appliance until it is warm.
24. This appliance is hot during operation. Be careful! There is a risk of injury.
25. Do not touch warm surfaces. The handles are heat-insulated, but the use of
oven mitts is recommended.
26. To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock while using use only wooden objects
(spatulas, spoons, forks and similar kitchen tools). Never clean the heating
plates with metal wires.
27. Never move the appliance when it contains hot oil, liquid or hot food.
