CLEANING, MAINTENANCE
• Pull the plug before cleaning. let the appliance cool down.
• The filter with the used coffee ground can be composted.
• Rinse the jug and the funnel in warm soapy water.
• If coffee is burnt-in in the jug, put in soapy water and let it soak for a while.
• Use a damp cloth on the enclosure.
• When you live in an area with hard water, let a solution of water and vinegar run through the appliance
once a month. This will dissolve the limescale.
• Clean the main appliance only with a damp cloth. Don’t use a sponge and make sure that no water
enters the appliance.
•
NEVER immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
• Do not use paint thinner, gasoline, or abrasive cleaners. Abrasive cleaners or utensils make scratches
which provide excellent hiding places for fungi and other pests.
• Do not use chemical water softeners for brewing coffee.
