The ideal tension is in the range between worktable and the upper saw
band at appr. 2mm
Too much tension: The band saw blade can break.
Too less tension: The band saw blade can slip and stop.
Saw blade tracking:
Open upper and lower door (f)
Turn by hand slowly the upper wheel clockwise. The saw
blade has to run centered on the rubber pads of the wheel.
If this is not the case, the inclination angle of the upper
wheel must be corrected as follows:
Loosen the lock (d)
Set the tracking by turning the saw band tracking knob (c)
Turn by hand slowly the upper wheel clockwise and check
the tracking.
Close upper and lower door
Switch on the machine and check the tracking in the
control window (e).

Set the saw band guide as near as possible to the
workpiece by turning the saw band guide adjusting knob
(h). (distance appr. 3mm)
Fix the saw band guide locking knob
Upper saw band guide:
Loosen fixing screws (i, k)
The guide pins (j) on the left and right, must be adjusted
in a way there is a gap of not more than 0.1 mm on the
right and left from the saw band and the pins must be
positioned in the middle of the saw band.
Fix (i) and (k)
Loosen fixing screw (l)
Adjust the back guide (m) clear to the saw band
Fix (l)
