Stainer Operator’s Manual

The user can start a slide staining run by pressing the RUN key or select the UTILITY mode by
pressing UTIL. Once in RUN mode, the user can add another rack without exiting the RUN mode or
can initiate a PAUSE or CANCEL the run. Once the run is completed for all the racks that are
running, the system will enter the Standby Mode.

Several examples of display and keypad interactions are described below to clarify some of the
conventions and the nomenclature used in the displayed messages. Please contact Technical Support
if you have any questions or need further assistance.
