3.4.8 Configuring the Hologic Connect Service
The Hologic Connect service provides RDP to the server through the Internet, which
gives Hologic the ability to troubleshoot, upgrade, and repair systems without having to
dispatch a service engineer to a site. Hologic recommends deploying the Hologic
Connect service at every site.
When you install the Cenova software, the Hologic Connect service is automatically
installed. To configure this service, first make sure the Default gateway and DNS server
settings were entered correctly (see
Entering the Server Network Identifiers
on page 27).
To configure the Hologic Connect service, you will need to:

Enter site contact information, such as the facility name, address, etc.
•
Configure Hologic Connect Setup.
•
Configure a proxy server (if needed).
•
Verify Hologic Connect access.
