9.2.1 Scale Test
1. Switch system on.
2. Once the display depicts
Insert Tube Set , press Pause/Resume and Zero at the
same time.
3. The pump display depicts the message Scale Test .
The first option is the test of the container scale.
4. Place a precision weight on the container scale (500 g - 2000 g)
5. The display of the fluid deficit limit depicts the weight.
6. The tolerance range is ± 20 g.
7. If the displayed value is outside the tolerance range, the scale must be cali-
brated by a service technician.
8. Remove weight from container scale.
9. Press the Deficit Level UP button to start the test of the bag scale.
10. Place a precision weight on the bag scale (500 g - 2000 g).
11. The difference weight is depicted in the deficit display.
12. The tolerance range is ± 20 g.
13. If the displayed value is outside the tolerance range, the scale must be cali-
brated by a service technician.
14. Remove weight from bag scale.
(Switch to the container scale test by pressing the Deficit Level Down button)
15. Press the Pause/Resume button to end the test.
Enter the results into the test log in section 16.1. The test is successfully complet-
ed when the results are within the permissible tolerance limit.
9.2.2 Flow Rate Test
Testing the Flow Rate The test setup is depicted in Fig. 9-1, Flow Rate Test.
