CLEANING /MAINTENANCE
INSTRUCTIONS
1.
Turn the air purifier off and
it before cleaning.

The outside of the air purifier can cleaned with a
soft, dean

can be cleaned with

damp doth.

The filtered air outlet can be cleaned of dust with a
small, soft brush.

If you wish to dean the inside of the air purifier,
please only use a dry, soft doth to wipe it down. DO
NOT wash filters.
WARNING:
Do not allow moisture to come in
contact with the main housing of the air purifier.
FILTER REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS
IMPORTANT:
•
DO NOT attempt to
wash
and re-use the true H EPA filters.
•
If the filters are enclosed in plastic bags, remove
before use.
NOTE:
Every few
check the condition of filters. Filter life
will vary,
on air quality and usage. Under
normal
continuous use, the true HEPA filters
will operate efficiently for
12-18
months. Carbon filters
need to be replaced every 60-90 days.
After
12
months of operation, check the
color o the LED
on the outer ring of the Filter Reset
Button
(0):
GREEN - Filters are in good condition for filtration_
YELLOW - Filters or� still good for filtration, but you should
consider purchasing your replacement filters.
RED
- Filters should be replaced before further use.
To replace your filters:
1.
Turn off and unplug the air purifier.
2.
To access filter compartment, open the front air inlet
grill door by
the Door Release Button.

To replace the carbon filters,
remove the old
carbon filters and insert new
filters in place
after first removing the plastic bag. Using the plastic
tabs as a guildline (see Figure
1 ).
5.
To replace the HEPA filters, discard the old HEPA
filters. DO NOT attempt to dean_ Put the carbon
filters back on the new HEPA filters. Insert the new
HAPF600 HEPA filters into the unit, by sliding onto
the hang tabs (see Figure
3).
6. Close the front air inlet grill door.
7.
After replacing the filters RESET the Filter life
Indicator by pressing an
d
holding down the Filter
Reset Button
( 0)
for
3
seconds. The green LED light
will indicate that the Filter life Monitor has been
successfully reset.
