8.1 General rules
Proper and regular cleaning will ensure safe operation and extend the lifespan of
the device.
Warning!
Before performing cleaning and maintenance operations, turn the device
off, disconnect it from the power source and let it cool down, so as to avoid burns
and electric shock.
•
Always empty the water tank when you have finished the work.
•
Wipe the device with a slightly damp cloth, then wipe it dry.
•
Wash the tips with running water and leave to dry.
Caution!
Do not immerse the power adapter or the device in water or other liquids.
Cleaning the head
1. Switch off the device.
2. Remove the suction attachment from the housing.
3. Wash the attachment with running water, then leave it to dry completely.
4. Install the suction attachment. Before using the device again, make sure that
all the parts are dry and installed correctly.
Cleaning the dirty water tank
1. Switch off the device.
2. Disconnect the dirty water tank from the housing.
3. Separate the tanks.
4. Wash the tanks using running water with some detergent. Leave to dry or dry
using a paper towel, cloth etc.
5. Assemble the tanks and install them in the housing.
