Caution! Turn off the device, disconnect it from the mains and leave it
to cool down before cleaning or maintenance to avoid electric shock
or burn.
• Do not place the jar on the base unit if the jar is wet.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
• Do not use any caustic cleaning agents.
Cleaning the jar
1.Disconnect the appliance from the mains.
2.Empty the jar and fill it with water.
3.Place the jar on the base unit and set the knob to “P”.
4.Disconnect the appliance from the mains and remove the jar from the base.
5.Empty the jar and wash it with water and a dishwashing detergent.
Warning! Use a brush to clean the jar around the blade.
6.Wipe the jar or leave it to dry.
Note: You can unscrew the blade (together with the black plate) from the glass
socket in the bottom of the jar and wash thoroughly with a mild detergent.
Warning!
Do not immerse the power cord, the power cord’s plug or the base unit in
water or any other liquid.
Caution!
Do not use a dishwasher to clean any component of the blender.
The device does not contain any user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to make any
repairs. Just call the Service.
If the power cord is damaged, it has to be replaced with an identical one by the
manufacturer, Service or a qualified person.
