8. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Remove the batteries before cleaning the device.
• Remove the jug from the measuring base
• Measuring base – wipe with a slightly damp cloth and some dishwashing
liquid, then wipe the base dry.
• Measuring jug – after the jug is removed from the scale base, it can be washed
under running water with household cleaning agents.
• Do not clean the device with corrosive cleaning agents.
• Protect the device (the measuring base) against penetration by water or other
liquids.
• Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids (this applies to the
measuring base of the scale).
10. STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION
Clean the device according to the instructions.
Always keep the device in a dry, well-ventilated location inaccessible to
children.
Protect the device against vibration and shock during transport.
If the device needs to be stored for a prolonged time, remove all the batteries
from the battery compartment.
All the packaging materials are recyclable and labelled as such. The packaging
should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
Keep the packaging materials out of children’s reach, as the materials can
pose a hazard.

The device does not contain any user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to make any
repairs. Always have a specialist perform repairs.
