7.1 Installing and replacing the battery
1. Make sure that the scale is turned off.
2. Remove the cover from the battery compartment.
3. Remove the old battery (if present).
4. Insert two new batteries AAA 1,5 V observing the polarity marking inside
the compartment.
5. Close the battery compartment cover.

Open the box and carefully remove the device. Ensure that the package is complete
and none of its contents are damaged. Check that plastic parts are not broken. If any
part is damaged or missing, contact the dealer and do not use the product. Keep the
package or recycle it in accordance with local regulations.
Caution! Risk of suffocation! For safety, keep packaging parts (plastic
bags, cardboard boxes, Styrofoam etc.) out of children’s reach!

• The battery is included in the package.

When replacing the battery, observe the polarity marking inside the battery
compartment.
• Use only the type of battery recommended for this device: battery AAA 1,5 V .
• Do not dispose of old batteries with domestic waste. Drop them into a dedicated
recycling bin.

Never re-charge single-use (non-rechargeable) batteries.

Do not short-circuit the battery poles or contacts.
•
Do not expose batteries to heat (direct sunlight, heater, fire etc.).
