Always follow basic safety precautions when using electric appliances, to avoid or
minimize the risks of fire, electrocution and injury:

Before plugging the electric cooker into the electrical supply, check that the power
cord is not damaged or crushed with anything heavy.

Make sure that the electric cooker stands on a flat, level and firm surface. Do not
cook using pots and pans which are unstable and which may easily tilt or tip over.
Place the pot on a hot plate. Do not heat the pot if empty. Turn the temperature
control dial to the value you want. The Power-On LED shows that the respective hot
plate is switched on for heating, and immediately starts heating. The metal surfaces
will become hot. Do not touch them while in use.

After the cooking is finished, turn the temperature control dial back to “0”. WARNING!
The hot plates will remain hot for some time after use. Risk of burns! If you do not
plan to use the electric cooker for a long time, it is best to unplug the

Waste electrical equipment is recyclable and may include
substances hazardous to human health and/or the environment.
Do not dispose of it with the household waste. Support low-
consumption management of natural resources and environmental
protection by taking your waste electrical equipment to a recycling
centre which handles waste electrical and electronic equipment.
Consult the seller of this applience or your local authotities about
the nearest authorised point for WEEE disposal.
10. WARRANTY
This appliance is covered by a 2-year warranty. If a defect is found under the warranty,
return it to the original place of purchase, complete with the proof of purchase for
warranty processing. Return the appliance complete with all original accessories and
in its original packaging.
This appliance conforms to the EMC Directive and the Low
Voltage Directive. Consequently, the appliance is CE marked and
features a Declaration of Conformity to European standards.
