flashing (light pulse emission) without the need to perform additional operations.
Thus, it is easy to move the device over skin without interruption, gliding it in a
slow and continuous motion without raising or lowering it.
Caution!
When the release mechanism is held down and the device is raised away from
the skin, Gliss mode will remain activated. However, for the user’s safety, no
pulsed light will be emitted until the device is in full contact with the skin. Make
sure that the IPL contact sensor that forms the contour of the device application
surface is entirely and firmly pressed against the skin to ensure continuous
emission of light pulses in Gliss mode. If device contact with skin is broken,
the device’s position on the skin can be adjusted within 5 seconds while the
release mechanism remains pressed down without interrupting the hair removal
process. If the device’s contact with skin is not fully restored within 5 seconds,
Gliss mode will be deactivated. Then the user will have to let go of the release
mechanism and press it again to restart the process.
If you lift the device away from skin and let go of the release mechanism, Gliss
mode will be deactivated.
Gliss mode is suitable for people who have acquired some experience and
proficiency in use of the device. For sensitive areas and the face, use Precision
mode.
Automatic shut-off feature
If the device remains turned on for longer than 10 minutes, it will shut off
automatically. To use the device again, press the “
ON / OFF / READY ” button
and return the IPL hair removal system to the desired intensity setting.
Avoid emitting more than one light pulse on the same spot on skin!
Never treat the same area more than once during a treatment session!
Stop operation of the device IMMEDIATELY if your skin shows any signs
of burns or blisters! Contact a doctor as soon as possible.
Removing hair from the face
Do not look directly at the area being treated when the light flashes. It is
recommended that you wear safety goggles when using the IPL hair removal
system, especially when applying the device to facial skin.
