8.1 Basic rules
Correct and regular cleaning will improve the safety and extend the lifespan of the
appliance.
Warning! Switch off the appliance, unplug and let it cool down before cleaning it,
emptying the dust container compartment or performing maintenance to avoid
electric shock and burns.
Caution! Do not clean the appliance with any chemicals, alkali, abrasive or disinfecting
agents, as they may damage the surface of the appliance.
8.2 Cleaning the appliance
• To clean the engine housing, wipe it with a dry cloth.
• The handle, floor-and-carpet nozzle and crevice tool should be cleaned with a
damp cloth and left to dry.
8.3 Cleaning the dust container
1. Make sure that the appliance is turned off and disconnected from power socket.
2. Disconnect the telescopic tube from the dust container.
3. Then remove the dust container from the engine housing. Press the top lid lock
button for the dust container and slightly move the dust container, then lift it up
and disconnect both elements.

Warning! During installation and disassembly disconnect the power plug of the
vacuum cleaner from the power socket.
7.3 Operation
1. After assembling the appliance and selecting the adequated configuration of
flat nozzle or crevice tool, press the on/off switch and start vacuuming.
2. When you finish vacuuming, turn off the appliance by pressing the on/off
switch again.
