Install the portafilter with the filter basket - follow the procedure described in
section
7.5 Portafilter installation
. There must be no coffee in the portafilter.
7. Remove the water container from the back of the appliance. Fill it with water.
The water level must be between the minimum (MIN) and maximum (MAX)
level markings on the container.
8. Remove the milk container from the right side of the appliance. Fill it with
water. The water level must be between the minimum (MIN) and maximum
(MAX) level markings on the container. Make sure that the hose is installed.
9. Insert the appliance plug into an outlet socket.
10. Turn the appliance on by pressing the on/off switch button. The LEDs above
the coffee size pictograms will flash blue three times, and you will hear a
short sound. Next, the coffee selection LEDs on the function panel will flash
white. When all the LEDs glow white continuously, the appliance has been
properly heated and is ready for use.
11. Place a cup in the relevant place and turn the milk frothing nozzle, so that it is
directed towards the inside of the cup.
12. Press the
Cappucino
button twice. The double cappuccino LED will start
glowing blue. Wait until water stops coming out of the grouphead and all the
indicator lights start flashing white. Repeat the action twice.
13. Turn the appliance off by pressing the on/off switch button again - now it
should stick out.
14. Empty the water and milk containers.

Brewing coffee
ATTENTION!
It is recommended to wash the appliance after every use, at least
once in 3 days.
ATTENTION! Use only potable fresh water for making an espresso / capuccino
/ latte.
ATTENTION! Using freshly ground coffee is recommended. Well ground coffee
should look like salt.
1. Follow the instructions contained in items 1 through 5 in section
7.1 Before
use.

Install the portafilter with the filter basket and coffe poured into it - follow the

and
7.6 Filling
the portafilter with coffee.
ATTENTION!
If you want to prepare coffee with milk, fill the milk container.
3. Remove the milk container from the right side of the appliance.
4. Make sure the hose is installed in the milk container. If the hose is mis-
sing, install it properly and fill the container with milk. The milk level must
be between the minimum (100ml/MIN) and maximum (500ml/MAX) level
markings on the container. Using whole milk is recommended for obtaining
