damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its authorised technical service or a
qualified professional to avoid life and health hazards.
10. TROUBLESHOOTING
If the kettle is not working, make sure that the power cord is properly plugged in, that the
ON/OFF power switch is on and that the kettle is properly set on the power dock.
If all the water evaporates from the kettle, a protective feature will switch it off. Wait for the
kettle to cool down and then refill with water. Set the ON/OFF power switch on, and the
kettle will turn on automatically.
If the kettle switches off before water is boiled, limescale may need to be removed from
inside the kettle.
IF THE TROUBLESHOOTING SUGGESTIONS FAIL TO REMOVE THE PROBLEM, CONSULT
A QUALIFIED SERVICE PROFESSIONAL. DO NOT ADJUST OR REPAIR THE KETTLE ON
YOUR OWN.
11. DISPOSAL OF WASTE EQUIPMENT
Waste electrical equipment is recyclable and may include substances
hazardous to human health and/or the environment. Do not dispose
of it with household waste. Support low-consumption management
of natural resources and environmental protection by handing over
your waste electrical equipment to a recycling centre which handles
waste electrical and electronic equipment. Consult the seller of this
appliance or your local authorities about the nearest authorised point
for WEEE disposal.
12. DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY WITH EUROPEAN STANDARDS
This appliance conforms to the EMC Directive and the Low Voltage
Directive. Consequently, the product is CE marked and features
a Declaration of Conformity to European standards.
13. WARRANTY
This product is covered by a 2-year warranty. If a defect is found on warranty, return the
product to its original seller with the proof of purchase for warranty processing. Return the
product complete with all original accessories and in its original packaging.
