3. Before replacing elements of the device or approaching
moving parts during use, cleaning and maintenance, turn off
the equipment and disconnect from the power supply.
4. Cleaning and maintenance may only be performed by adults
who are familiar with the warnings and cleaning and
maintenance instructions described in section "9. CLEANING
AND MAINTENANCE".
5. It is not allowed to use the device for longer than 1 minute.
6. Be careful when removing the mixer cap from the container
after blending the contents, as it may leak or flow out dirtying or
damaging the equipment around.
7. Be carefull if hot liquids is poured into the blender as it can be
ejected out of the appliance due to a sudden steaming.
DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK DUE TO MOISTURE
Do not immerse the base with a motor, power cord or plug in water or other
liquids. Protected them from splashing or dripping water. Avoid using the
device in environments with high humidity like steamy kitchens. If moisture
enters the motor base, the unit may be damaged or, in extreme cases, may
cause electric shock. Keep your hands dry when operating the device. If liquid
enters the motor base or falls into water, immediately unplug the power plug
from the socket, dry the device and have the unit serviced by a service
technician and checked for safety.
HAZARDS DUE TO ELECTRICAL SHOCK
The power plug may only be plugged into the power outlet after the unit has
been fully assembled and the container and mixing cap have been checked for
leaks. The mains plug must be connected to a properly installed, easily
accessible mains socket, the voltage of which is in accordance with the
parameters given on the appliance's rating plate.
