Be careful that water does not get into the housing of the device This is an electrical
appliance and water may cause a short circuit that may damage the appliance or
cause electric shock.
Removing the kettle from the base stops all the processes.
Lift the kettle only using the handle.
Do not keep water in the kettle for a long time - this can cause scale build-up. Unused
water is best poured out.
Pour an amount of water into the kettle that is equal to or higher than MIN (about
0.5l) but not higher than MAX (about 1.7l). Pouring too much water can result in
damage to the device. If the water quantity is less than 0.5 l (MIN on the scale), the kettle
can switch off automatically to protect the unit from overheating.
To save electricity boil only the amount of water you need, but not less than MIN on
the scale (0.5l).
The cooking process can be interrupted at any time by switching the switch to the 0
position, in extreme cases you can stop the kettle from working by lifting it from the
base or by unplugging in from the power supply socket.
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
Take the base out of the foil and unravel the power supply cable. Push the cable
through the whole in the base - it should provide stability to the kettle.
The base should be placed in spot where there is no risk of knocking and where
children and pets cannot reach it.
Make sure that there are no furniture or other materials in the immediate vicinity of the
kettle that are not resistant to steam and heat (hot steam).
If all components are visually undamaged, plug the power plug into a power outlet.
FILLING THE KETTLE WITH WATER
Open the lid by pressing the opening button.
Lift the kettle with the handle and pour-in water from the tap. You can also sit the kettle
on a table top and pour-in filtered or spring water from a bottle.
Position the kettle on the base so that the power outlet in the kettle matches the
connector on the base and the whole device is stable.
REMOVAL OF CONTAMINANTS AND PRESERVATIVES
Before boiling the water for use for the first time, remove all dirt and preservatives from
the interior of the kettle. It is important for your health and for keeping neutral taste of
the boiled water.
To clean the interior of the kettle before the first use pour water to up to maximum
value marked MAX and boil the water until it boils. Pour the water out.
Rinse the interior with clear water.
After it cools down, wash the inside with a dishwashing liquid and rinse thoroughly.
Fill the kettle with water again and boil it. Pour that water out as well.
