to the PS2 connector on the right
side panel for PSK transmit operation.
The
Mode
is shown in the upper left
(PSK-U) along with the state (RX)
The
Setting
icon is displayed in the
lower left corner. This indicates which
setting was most recently selected
and is currently being controlled by
the left encoder (AF Gain), along with
its value (54).
The
Frequency
is shown on the low-
er right corner (7070kHz) and the tuning step is 1kHz (because the 3 least-significant digits of
the frequency display are “grayed out”). Memory preset
Memory 7
has been selected.
The function of the 2 buttons,
CS
and
NM
, are described in the section Keyboard Operation in
CW. The keyboard and these 2 buttons function the same in PSK and CW.
In Figure 68, the VFO is set at
7070kHz and the signal being decod-
ed is at an offset, in the audio spec-
trum, of 1703Hz, indicated by the AF.
The actual received frequency is
7,071,703Hz. The signal, on the wa-
terfall, that is being decoded is indi-
cated by the white vertical line.
Note that the 1703 is displayed in
green. This indicates that the signal,
at 1703Hz, is being decoded, white
