Mode d´emploi:
L‘appareil peut se poser à plat, mais il peut aussi être suspendu à un clou ou une vis, à l‘aide d‘
un fil de nylon passé dans les oeillets.
Brancher l‘élément chauflant à la connection. Pour brancher plusieurs éléments, prendre une
fiche multiple. Mettre l‘extrémité de la sonde au moins 5 cm sous 1‘eau! Mettre la fiche au
réseau. Régler la température voulue sur la graduation.
Concarnant l‘automatisme du réglage jour et nuit, il y a lieu d‘observer ce qui suit: Sur la
partie supérieure du boîtier du réqulateur se trouve un commutateur.
Dans la position »I en bas«, la température de jour monte jusqu‘à environ 2° C audessus de la
température demandée sur la graduation. La nuit, la température baisse à nouveau.
La position »0 en bas«, maintient une température constante de jour et de nuit selon
l‘indication de la graduation.
Indications générales:
Pour une comparaision avec un thermomètre, il faut placer la sonde et le thermomètre au
même endroit de l‘aquarium surtout quand l‘eau est en mouvement.
I1 faut savoir que certains thermomètres bon marche donnent une indication pouvant varier
jusqu‘à 2° C.
Si plusieurs récipients sont à régler avec le même Biotherm, il faut que la capacité du chauffa-
ge de chaque récipient soit en rapport du volume d‘eau.
Pour des récipients plus grands, avec plus de poissons, nous vous proposons d‘utiliser un
second appareil. Vous aurez alors deux circuits séparés, et une surveillance mutuelle des
appareils.

Biotherm e il termostato che si paga da se. Adatto anche per carico induttivo.
Guida per il funzionamento:
Innestare la spina del riscaldatore nella presa del termostato. Se si hanno piu riscaldatori, usare
una spina multipla. Immergere la sonda del termostato (estremità del cavetto sottile) almeno 5
cm sotto il livello dell‘acqua. Innestare la spina del termostato in una presa di corrente. Fissare
sulla scala graduata la temperatura desiderata. Per inserire il dispositiva automatico giorno/not-
te, ossèrvare i sequenti punti: sul lato superiore del termostato si trova un interruttore a bilan-
ciere; spostandolo in modo che il puntino rosso sia visibile, di giorno la temperatura aumenta
gradualmente di circa 2° C rispetto a quella programmata sulla scala per poi ridiscendere di
notte. Se invece l‘interruttore a bilanciere è posizionato in modo che il puntino rosso non sia
visibile, la temperatura fissata sulla scala resta costante di giorno e di notte.
Indicazioni generali:
Se si desidera effettuare un confronto con un termometro, fare attenzione che sia la parte
sensibile del termostato, che quella del termometro siano nello stesso punto dell‘acquario. E‘
ovvio che se l‘acqua e stagnante ha poco movimento, la temperatura non è uniforme in tutti
i punti dell‘acquario. Fare inoltre attenzione che i termometri, di basso costo possono avere
scarti di altre 2° C in più o in meno. Se si desidera regolare la temperatura di più vasche con
un unico Biotherm, è indispensabile che la quantità d‘acqua e la potenza dei riscaldatori delle
singole vasche siano equamente proporzionati.
Per vesche die grandi dimensioni e con una quantità di pesci proporzionale, consigliamo
l‘utilizzo di un secondo apparecchio. In questo modo usufruirete di circuiti 2 elettrici separati e
gli apparecchi si controlleranno reciprocamente.

Technical data:

accuracy ± 0,2° C, self-requlating by photoeye (disconnectible). Up to 30 % current saving. A
regulator, which pays for itself. Also suitable for inductive load.
Operating Instructions:
The apparatus can be laid flat or hung by a nylon thread through the two eyelets on a nail or
on a screw. Connect the heating element with the coupling. In case of extra heating elements
a distribution plug can be used. Place the temperature-probe casing at least 5 cm under the
water surface. Connect the electric power
plug to the electric power supply system. Requlate the required temperature on the gauge.
For day and night automatic use consider the following: on the top of the requlator casing
there is a tipper switch. At position »I down« the temperature increases to 2 degrees above
the temperature which is set on the scale and decrease at night again. At position »O down«
the day and night temperature will be constant, corresponding to the temperature requlated
on the scale.
General advice:
If you want to compare with a thermometer, please make sure that the probe and the thermo-
meter in your aquarium are at the same position.
If there is some disturbance in the water, as is usually the case, the temperature will not be
the same everywhere. Please do consider that cheap thermometers differ up to 2° C and more
from the indicated value. Should there be more basins requlated with a Biotherm, you would
have to take account that water quantity and heating capacity must be chosen in the correct
relation.
For larger basins and the corresponding fish populations we recommend connecting a second
apparatus in series. So you receive two separated electrical circuits while the two apparatuses
control each other.
Guarantee Certificate
We grant the customer a 24 months guarantee, which begins on the day of delivery,
assuming that the guarantee certificate has been filled in. The guarantee is given for
material and assembly failures not for damages caused by inappropriate treatment.
