IMPORTANT NOTE:
The
charger is not water resistant
and
should be kept dry at all times.

1. Using a small Philips head screwdriver, loosen the battery
door screw and carefully open the battery compartment
as shown.

2. Install 6 fresh 'C' size batteries. Make sure that the (+)
positive and (-) negative poles match up correctly with the
diagram molded inside the battery compartment.

3. Close the battery door and retighten the screw.

1. Remove the nose plug from the Sea Scout as shown. This
piece serves as the ON/OFF switch. When it is inserted, it
breaks the power connection turning the sub “OFF”. When
removed, the power connection is re-established and the sub
is turned “ON”.

2. Insert the charge plug into the charging port of the Sea
Scout as shown.
