FAN UNIT (FAN-A)

This is the fan unit used for all the GS4000 models, which is pre-installed in the body of a
device.

(1) Outer

Appearance

(2) LEDs

The LEDs shown in Figure 1.2-1 above is for the body of a device, and the action status it
indicates differs depending on the type of a device or the position where the fan unit is
installed.

As for the status indicated by the each LED, refer to the section “1.1 Chassis”.

NOTE: Do not install optional components from a GS4000 or GR4000 into devices

other than another GS4000 or GR4000. Doing this causes a fire or an electric
