4. Ignition coil and spark plug cap
(1) Disassembly
Loosen the Bolt M4 x 18

, and then remove the Ignition Coil

.
To remove the Spark Plug Cap

, add a drop of oil into the Spark Plug (TORCH CMR5H)

hole in
the Spark Plug Cap

, move the high-voltage cord back and forth to spread the oil, and then slowly
pull out the Metal Fitting of Plug Cap

so that it is not extended.
(2) Reassembly
Insert the high-voltage cord of the Ignition Coil

into the Spark Plug Cap
[16]
, and pull out the
high-voltage cord from the Spark Plug (TORCH
CMR5H)

hole. Fit the Metal Fitting of Plug Cap
[17]
onto the pulled-out high-voltage cord, and then
draw back the high-voltage cord into the Spark Plug
Cap

while being careful to prevent the Metal
Fitting of Plug Cap
[17]
from coming off. When
mounting the Ignition Coil

, be careful to
maintain the correct gap between the Ignition Coil
[125]
and the magneto rotor assembly. (See section
2 on page 6.) Finally check that the Stop Cord

and the Earth Cord

are not damaged.
5. Tank and recoil starter ass’y
(1) Disassembly
Before removing the Tank

, make sure that it
contains no gasoline.
Loosen the Bolt M5 x 25

To remove the Recoil Starter

, loosen the Screw

(2) Reassembly
Before reassembly, check the Fuel Pipe

Return Pipe

for any damage. If any
deterioration, crack or gasoline leak is found, replace
both parts.
Use a piece of wire to draw out the Pump Filter Body

from the fuel inlet of the Tank

. If the
Pump Filter Body

is dirty, clean it with a cloth
dipped in gasoline.
To check for clogging of the Pump Filter Body

,
remove the Pump Filter Body

from the Fuel
Pipe

, and check whether air can be blown
through the Pump Filter Body

. If the Pump

is clogged, replace it.
