• Your iPhone/iPod will automatically start charging once it is docked.
• Switch off your iPod while listening to the radio to prevent signal interference.
• While your iPhone/iPod is docked, you can control it from the main unit, the
remote control or from the iPhone/iPod directly.
• Use your iPhone/iPod controls to manually select your iPhone/iPod music
menu, then proceed to the next step.
Control iPhone/iPod (navigation menu)
1. During iPod mode, tap the /MENU/INFO icon on the unit or press the /MENU/INFO
button on the remote control to enter the iPhone/iPod navigation menu.
2. Press the FOLDER/ARROW buttons on the remote control to navigate up and
down in the menu.
3. Press the SELECT/MONO/ST. button on the remote control to confirm selection.
4. Tap the
/MENU/INFO icon on the unit or press the /MENU/INFO button on the
remote control return to the previous iPhone/iPod menu.
• For iPhone/iPod, please make sure the current mode is set as iPod/Music/Video.
• iPod 6
th
generation doesn’t support the navigation menu.
Charging Your iPhone/iPod
1. Your iPhone/iPod has an internal non-removable battery, the battery may need to be
charged if the iPod has not been used for awhile.
2. You can charge the iPhone/iPod through the unit automatically under the STANDBY
or POWER ON mode.
The iPod battery is 80% charged in about an hour, and fully charged in about a few hours.
If you charge it while playing music, it may take longer.
• It is not recommended to charge when using the TUNER mode. It may interfere with
the reception.
• To avoid damaging your iPhone/iPod or the unit please take care when inserting and
removing your iPhone/iPod from the dock.
