1. Precautions on disassembly and reassembly

assembly diagram of the Model UV 3628DA. Some abbreviated part names are used in this manual. See
the parts list for the full names.
1. Disassembly of the flexible ass’y
(1) Wrap the hose gland with a cloth and tap the corner with a hammer to loosen it. Remove the flexible
ass’y from the Front Cover

(2) Fix the end of the flexible shaft (shaft sleeve) with pliers. Turn the shaft of the Rotor Ass’y

with a
wrench (8 mm) fitting on its width across flats portion and remove the flexible shaft.
Disassembly
Hose gland
Loosen.
Corner
Width across flats
portion (8 mm)
Fix it with pliers.
