Before first use
Unpack the unit and place it on a flat, level, heat-resistant surface. Wipe the outer casing and cooking plates with a
clean damp cloth.
Note
: Some odor may be smelled during initial preheating; this is normal and will cease with further use.
How to use your Health Grill
1. Press the rear section of the latch to unlock the cooking plates. Lift the handle to open the lid.
2. Check the cooking plates are clean. Wipe with a damp cloth if necessary.
3. Brush a little cooking oil onto the cooking plates to help protect the non-stick surface
4. Connect the plug to the mains supply. The red power indicator will light.
5. After approximately 4 minutes, the correct temperature will be reached and the blue ready indicator will light.
6. Carefully lift the handle to open the lid using oven gloves or pot holders. Place the food onto the bottom cooking plate
using heat-resistant plastic or wooden utensils. Never use metal utensils as they may damage the non-stick coating.
7. Carefully close the lid. Do not apply any pressure.
Caution
: Steam may be released between the cooking plates. Take care to prevent your hands from coming into
contact with the steam.
8. Grilling time depends on the food being grilled and your personal preference. As an example, medium pork chops
require approximately 12 min. grilling time.
9. When cooking is finished, carefully open the lid using oven gloves or pot holders. Remove the food using
heat-resistant plastic or wooden utensils.
10. Close the lid to preserve the heat. When you have finished cooking, unplug the grill and allow it to cool down.
