Characteristics of HART Communication
To ensure HART communication, a HART handheld can be connected in parallel to the
actuator. The current fluctuation caused by the HART communications is extensively
compensated by the analog output so that the maximum residual error of the preset current
is 2 % of the final value.

Higher residual error with HART communication. Remove the HART terminal directly after
the diagnosis!
