PRECAUTIONARY MEASURE
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed to avoid the risks to your health:
1. Read all instructions before operating the appliance.
2. Before connecting the kettle to the power supply, check that the
voltage indicated on the appliance (underside the kettle and base)
corresponds with the voltage in your home. If this is not the case,
contact your dealer and do not use the kettle.
3. Unplug from the outlet when not in use.
4. Do not let the cable hang over edge of table counter or touch hot
surface.
5. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated
oven.
6. Do not operate without water; otherwise heater element would be
damaged.
7. Ensure that kettle is used on a firm and flat surface where the
children can’t touch. This can prevent from overturning the kettle to
damage the person or kettle.
8. To protect against a fire, electric shock or personal injury, do not
immerse cord, electric plugs or kettle in water or other liquids.
9. While water boiling, avoid contacting with steam from the spout when
water is boiling or just after it has switch off. Do not be anxious to
uncover the lid.
10. Always take care to pour boiling water slowly and carefully without
tipping the kettle too fast.
11. Be careful when opening the lid for refilling when the kettle is hot.
12. The kettle is for household use only, not for outdoor.
13. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning; allow
cooling before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning the
appliance.
14. Always ensure the lid is closed and do not lift it while the water is
boiling. Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the brewing
cycles.
15. If the supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order
to avoid a hazard.
16. The kettle can only use with the stand provided.
17. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.
18. Keep this manual in a safe place.
